When you are managing a high-stakes construction project near Downtown Cape May or planning a large-scale community festival at Levis Square, the last thing you want to worry about is the "bathroom situation."
Sanitation is the invisible backbone of a successful event and a productive job site. At KEX, we provide the most reliable, clean, and compliant portable toilet rentals in Cape May, NJ, and the surrounding Northwest Cape May, NJ region.
We understand that "one size fits all" doesn't apply to portable sanitation. A weekend wedding at a Metropark requires a vastly different approach than a multi-month commercial build on Dorrest Street. Our team combines local expertise with a massive inventory to ensure your guests or crew have access to hygienic, well-maintained facilities. From standard units to climate-controlled luxury trailers, we bridge the gap between necessity and comfort.
Operating in the Glass City presents unique challenges. Northwest Cape May, NJ weather is notoriously unpredictable. Our units are engineered to withstand the heavy winds off Lake Erie and the fluctuating temperatures that can cause lesser units to crack or tip.
Cape May is a hub of industry and culture. We’ve tailored our service list to meet the diverse needs of our community:
The "Summer Heat" Factor: Cape May summers can be humid and punishing. Without proper ventilation and high-grade deodorizers, a portable toilet can quickly become an eyesore. KEX uses advanced blue-wave deodorizing technology and specialized vent screens to ensure our units remain fresh, even during a 90-degree July afternoon.
Winterizing Your Units: When the "Siberian Express" hits Northwest Cape May, NJ, standard units can freeze. We offer winterized units with anti-freeze additives in the tanks and specialized salt-melt mats for the entryways to prevent slips and falls on ice.
Q: How many portable toilets do I need for my event in Cape May?
A: A general rule of thumb is one unit per 50 people for a 4-hour event. If alcohol is being served, we recommend increasing that number by 20%. For construction, OSHA requires one unit for every 20 employees.
Q: Do you offer emergency rentals if a permanent facility fails?
A: Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency dispatch throughout Lucas and Wood Counties for businesses experiencing plumbing failures or unexpected crowds.
Q: Where can you legally place a porta potty in Cape May?
A: Units must be placed on a level, solid surface that is accessible by our service trucks. We can help you navigate placement permits if the unit needs to be on a public sidewalk or street.
We don't just "drop and swap." Our 10-point inspection process during every service call ensures that:
Our commitment to the Cape May community goes beyond business. We live here, work here, and take pride in keeping our city clean and functional.
While we are a fixture in Cape May proper, our service radius extends to ensure all of Northwest Cape May, NJ and Southeast Michigan are covered:
"We were in a pinch when our previous vendor ghosted us on a commercial build near the Old West End. KEX saved the day. They delivered three standard units and a handwashing station within four hours of our call..."
"I was so worried about having 'porta potties' at our outdoor wedding in Maumee, but KEX’s luxury restroom trailers were incredible..."
"Managing the logistics for a large-scale event is a nightmare, but KEX made the sanitation part easy..."
Don't let poor planning flush your event’s reputation down the drain. Whether you’re breaking ground on a new development in West Cape May or saying "I do" under the oaks in Ottawa Park, KEX has the inventory and the local heart to make it happen.
